      @camille
      I would love my research to help solve the energy probelms that we are facing. Achieving sufficient and sustainable energy genaration without polluting the environment. Solar energy is a candidate for that which is also socially fair since no country can claim the sun all for itself!

      I want my research to help cancer drugs work better so that when patients are cured of cancer the first time, they don’t have to worry that it will come back in a few years. I’d also like to make drugs more pleasant for patients, with much fewer side effects, so that their quality of life is much higher when they are being treated.

      I want my research to help solve one of the biggest threats facing human health, especially in countries where people don’t have access to clean drinking water.

      By using flamingos as an indicator of enviornmental health, I’ll hopefully be able to figure out cheap ways of predicting whether or not water is polluted, and if it IS polluted with lots of bad bacteria, people will know not to drink it.

      There are millions and millions of people in the world without access to clean drinking water, who get diseases and die. So hopefully…one day, this will happen less because of my research!

      Most of all I want to find out as much as I can about living things and share my discoveries with others. Primarily I am curious about the world. If my research can help protect animals and plants then all the better.
