  The DART can travel at speeds of up to 110km/hr.. it doesn’t always go that fast though! If the DART travels from Bray to Howth – that’s about 50km. It would take you about an hour to travel that distance. We can work out the average speed of the DART by using the equation speed=(distance/time). So for the DART, average speed = 50km/1hour = 50km/hr
