You’re welcome, you guys were awesome – so many great questions, I hope I was able to answer most of yours…it was a bit tricky with so many good ones coming up on my screen!

Yes, I LOVE Ireland. I moved here about 10 years ago. At first I was really homesick, but I’ve made so many friends here, Irish people are so nice! Now, I still miss home sometimes but I get to visit a couple times a year to see my family and friends there, so its not too bad. I’ll be so happy to see them at Christmas, thanks 🙂

And why do I like flamingos? Well, I think they’re pretty cool animals. They’re pink, which is a bit unusual for an animal. And they can stand on one leg (they even sleep this way sometimes!), which is also pretty cool. AND, they live in places that are nice to visit for fieldwork…like Spain, Italy, and France – where its nice and warm and sunny! And of course, they were a good choice for my research – they’re ‘helping’ me out with my research which hopefully in the end will mean I can find out some important things for human health 🙂

Thanks again for the good questions during the chat 🙂 Keep up the good work

OH, ps. i forgot to answer the bit about the world ending. No, I dont think it will! There have been lots of other predictions like this, and it hasnt happened yet 🙂
