• Question: Do you study any other types of cancer right now?

      Not right now – cancer is such a complicated disease that it makes sense for me to just focus on one type. But my work can benefit other types of cancer as well. For example if I publish a paper on something I’ve seen in breast cancer and how I worked on it to develop a better way of treating it, another researcher might have seen the same thing in another cancer and be able to copy my work to develop a treatment for that cancer.

      I might work on other types of cancer later in my career, as long as I like the research project and think that it will make a difference.
